Looking to visit your children or grandchildren living in Canada? You may be eligible for a Parent and Grandparent SuperVisa if you:
Are the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada
Have a signed letter from your child or grandchild inviting you to Canada which includes a promise of financial support for the duration of your visit, information about the number of people in their household along with phone numbers, and a copy of their Canadian citizenship or permanent resident document.
Have proof of paid Canadian medical insurance that is valid for 1 year from your entry date and at least $100,000 CAD coverage.

How Long Can I Stay?
As a visitor visa with a better term, the parent and grandparent super visa allows you to stay with your family in Canada for up to 5 years at a time without leaving the country. This visa is also a multi-entry visa and you can visit several times during a 10-year period.
Income Requirement on the Child or Grandchild
Your child or grandchild will need to meet the following income requirement (updated for 2023). The family size is calculated as your child or grandchild, their immediate family members (spouse, partner and/or dependent children) and yourself.
