Launch Academy | Hemista, a fintech start-up

Gurumoorthi G is the founder and CEO of Hemista, which he founded in 2019. “I had ten years of experience in financial management, stock market investments, corporate banking, data analytics, and equity research, when I decided to take the risk of starting my own business,” said Gurumoorthi.

Hemista is an early-stage fintech startup based out of Boston, which offers a simple, affordable solution for all your investment and financial planning requirements. They are developing unique automated financial advisors.

“In 2021, we decided to expand into the Canadian market and applied for the Launch Academy’s Maple program. We have now set up our Canadian business a few months ago. It is all up and running. Thank you Launch Academy!”

SuperVisas is Launch Academy’s immigration partner. “Applying for visas on SuperVisas is simple,” says Gurumoorthi. “The platform is very easy to use, and their RCICs are very professional and responsible for dealing with our visas. My family and I got visas on time with their help.”

“Working with SuperVisas has been great, their team is always quick to respond and follow up with each of their client's needs. Their platform is intuitive to use and makes the immigration process streamlined which is perfect for our needs.” said Jean Yoon, from Launch Academy.
